MLK Day of Giving at Nathanson Creek Preserve
Monday, Jan. 20, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Nathanson Creek Preserve, East McArthur Street & 2nd Street East, Sonoma
In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of a healthy and connected community, join us in a day of community action at Sonoma’s Nathanson Creek Preserve. This is a family- and kid-friendly volunteer work day where people come together to improve a local treasure. Tools and gloves provided.

Pruning Day at Sonoma Garden Park
Saturday, Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Sonoma Garden Park, 19996 7th St. East, Sonoma
Join Ag + Open Space and Sonoma Ecology Center for a free and fun volunteer work day at Sonoma Garden Park as we finish up this winter’s pruning duties. Sonoma Garden Park’s trees have thrived under volunteer care for 25 years thanks to volunteer work days like this.

Trails Council Work Days at Sugarloaf
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, 2605 Adobe Canyon Rd, Kenwood
1st Saturday of the month, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sonoma County Trails Council directs this volunteer trail work day at Sugarloaf focusing on trail maintenance and improvements. Parking passes and tools are provided, along with snacks and beverages. All are welcome!

Sugarloaf Trail Crew
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, 2605 Adobe Canyon Rd, Kenwood
2nd & 4th Thursday of the month, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Help Sugarloaf staff with trail restoration work including bridge and step construction, installing signs, clearing debris and more. Tools, food and beverages are provided.

Visitor Center Attendant & More
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, 2605 Adobe Canyon Rd, Kenwood
Sugarloaf offers a host of other volunteer opportunities too, including help at the Visitor Center, Kiosk, and much more. Questions may be directed to John Roney at john@sonomaecologycenter.org. If you’re able to dedicate between two and 20 hours per week at Sugarloaf, please let us know!
