NeWTs? What are those?

In this case, we’re not talking about the cute little amphibians. “NeWTs” stands for Neighborhood Water Teams, a program we’re spearheading in Sonoma Valley that will help residents save money on water, improve water quality and security, access water-saving rebates and, perhaps best of all, build new connections with their neighbors and community.

We’ll reveal more about this program soon – and all local residents definitely will be invited to join. Until then, let’s consider how fortunate we are to have clean, potable, affordable water, straight from the tap. Not all people – not even all Americans – are so lucky (the awful situation in Flint comes to mind).
