In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Sonoma County has imposed a new stay-at-home order starting Saturday, Dec. 12 and ending Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021. This order will result in the following changes to Sonoma Ecology Center’s events and services:

* At Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, the campground is closed and all community events are canceled or postponed until Jan. 9. Under current guidelines the park will remain open to the public until 6 p.m. daily for socially distanced day use on the Nature, Hillside, Meadow and Canyon trails. Park guests may not enter the Visitor Center, but can purchase passes and other items from outside the Center.

* At Sonoma Garden Park, all community events are canceled or postponed until Jan. 9. This public park also will remain open until 6 p.m. daily for socially distanced day use. Sonoma Ecology Center’s educators are working to move some scheduled events online, and we will continue to support individuals and families with virtual educational activities.

Sonoma Ecology Center is committed to helping everyone stay connected to nature during the stay-at-home order while remaining safe and healthy. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.

Sincerely,
All of Us at Sonoma Ecology Center
