Spring is not yet here, but it’s already time to sign the kids up for summer camp – so how about SEC’s Summer Science Camp series?

We are looking forward to another adventure-filled summer at Sonoma Garden Park and Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, with popular camps returning and a brand new camp this year: Sugarloaf Backpacking Adventure. The full series is as follows:

  • Creek Camp (Sugarloaf Ridge State Park) – June 13-17, for ages 8-12
  • Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire Camp (Sonoma Garden Park) – June 20-24, for ages 6-12
  • Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows Camp (Sonoma Garden Park) – June 27 to July 1, for ages 8-12 (featuring an overnight camp-out)
  • Sugarloaf Backpacking Adventure (Sugarloaf Ridge State Park) – July 6-8, for ages 10-14 (3-day/2-night experience)

These camps are popular and fill quickly – but our educators and naturalists are ready to go! Sign up now and receive an early bird special: $220 for those registered by April 8 (down from $265 for non-SEC members). By the way, Sonoma Ecology Center also is holding a single-day Spring Break Camp at Sugarloaf on Wednesday, March 23. For more on that or to sign up, go to: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2512286.
