Pruning Day at Sonoma Garden Park

Please join us for a free and fun volunteer work day at Sonoma Garden Park as we finish up this winter’s pruning duties!

Sonoma Garden Park’s trees have thrived under volunteer care for 25 years thanks to volunteer work days like this. The free event (Saturday, Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.) is made possible due to Sonoma County Ag + Open Space, and the voters who fund its work to benefit parks countywide.

Participants will receive a pruning demonstration before joining in the pruning of the garden. Gloves, tools, and light refreshments provided (but feel free to bring your favorite pruners or loppers and a handsaw.) Please wear warm layers and closed-toed sturdy shoes, and bring protective eyewear and water.
