Even as we hunker down during quarantine, the one space that is still open to everyone is our night sky. The Lyrid Meteor Shower is the best night sky show for months—and it’s peaking on Tuesday, April 21. Please join Rachel Freed of Sonoma State University and Education Program Manager Tony Passantino for what could be a shooting star extravaganza!
During this Zoom livestream, participants will learn about the Lyrid Meteor Shower, including where to spot it in the night sky and other interesting facts. Perhaps best of all, your stargazing experience will be communal even as you stay at home.
