Please join Sonoma Ecology Center’s Education Project Manager and Hundred Acre Greenery owner Julia Megna for an afternoon devoted to strengthening our connection with Mother Nature and global sisterhood.

We’ll first plant the ceremonial seed circle to begin spring’s three sister trilogy, an ancient Mesoamerican technique using beans, squash and corn. Then we’ll weave natural plant fibers to create your original wall hanging. Enjoy complimentary baked treats and tea provided.

Sonoma Garden Park, owned by the City of Sonoma, was protected by Ag + Open Space in November 2011 for recreation and preservation of its natural resources and as a classroom environment for elementary school field trips. The 6-acre property in eastern Sonoma is an incredible public park and working garden, containing a wide array of habitats alongside sustainably designed systems for both agricultural and landscaping purposes.

There is no charge for this outing, which is made possible by the voters of Sonoma County who fund the work of Ag + Open Space with a quarter-cent sales tax.
