Sonoma Garden Park will be showcased as one of the inspiring gardens of Sonoma and Marin counties during this annual self-guided tour organized by Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership. The Eco-Friendly Garden Tour is a public outreach and education program that promotes sustainable landscaping practices by showcasing inspiring gardens throughout Sonoma County and North Marin. The Tour highlights Russian River-Friendly and Bay-Friendly landscaping best practices, and supports Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) certified professionals by featuring their personal or client’s gardens.

Come inspect Sonoma Garden Park’s Low Impact Design (LID) garden features and learn about sustainable landscaping and agricultural practices used throughout the park. Docents and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the plants and sustainable landscaping practices.

We will have veggie starts for sale throughout the day!
