Information is arguably our most valuable tool, and the knowledge of an organization is one of its greatest assets. Good information management saves time and money and can help an organization attain its goals.
Our GIS & Informatics Group is well-known for helping Sonoma Ecology Center and other organizations quickly and effectively access their information, whether it’s in the form of documents, data sheets and databases, maps, or GIS data. A wide range of skills and over 45 years combined experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), programming, and information management enable our team to develop customized solutions for conservation applications, whether the project is big or small.
We have worked with a wide variety of clients, including university researchers, conservation non-profits, government agencies, and private landowners. Our recent clients include: NOAA Fisheries, Golden Gate National Park, UC Davis Road Ecology Program, Marin Municipal Water District, Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District, Sonoma Land Trust, Sonoma County Water Agency, and Morro Bay National Estuary Program.
